It’s hard to believe we’re halfway through 2020. What a year it’s been so far! For a few reasons: (1) High-quality service is a priority to build a loyal customer base, and (2) because they know they’re serving their friends and neighbors. Who doesn’t love shopping in a store where you know the owner and employees genuinely want to help you?

Small businesses are important to our communities. When you choose to ‘shop small’ it really makes a difference! Shopping small creates and supports local jobs. Each time you decide to spend your dollars at a small business, you are helping to pay the salary of a member of your community.

Many small businesses invest back in their communities. Do you know the feeling of seeing a photo of a softball team or church group near the register? That familiarity creates loyalty and connection. Even if you don’t personally know the owner of the store when you walk in, you know you’re welcome there, and you know that business is an important part of your community.
